Antique Edwardian Coal/Log Box
A gorgeous antique Edwardian mahogany coal scuttle, also known as a purdonium, has been restored and in excellent condition.
The rectagular suttle features a satinwood banding with an upstand to the back with bevelled mirror below, the drop door with inlay to centre opens to reveal a removable lead lined coal/log bin, it features brass handles with carrying handles to sides, standing on a shaped plinth base with castors.
